My name is D. Dylan Schettina and I'm running for Governor of Georgia in 2026. Why am I announcing so early? I'm running as an unaffiliated independent, and that means I'll have to teach everyone how to spell my last name to be added to the write-in ballot in November '26.
I'm a Pro-Labor populist, and while I know Georgia is the best state in the Union to do business in, I want to make sure Georgia is the best state to also work and live in as well. There are kitchen table issues affecting millions of hard working Georgians that I don't believe the legislature has taken the serious time and commitment to address and fix. You cant just discuss the problems, you have to take action.
I come from a background in the entertainment and gaming fields. While they might seem disparate in relation to how they could possible help making me be a better executive officer of the state, I've always appreciated gaining skills in one industry or vocation and applying them in a wide variety of ways. I'm not just an actor and a game developer; I'm a hard working Georgian with a keen eye for developing talent and enshrining rules that promote fairness and a healthy sense of cooperative competition.
Healthcare is a right.
Housing should be affordable.
Work should be able to be performed with dignity. Always.
Your vote is your voice, and you voice is power.
This is where the great communities of Georgia come in. I'm not the savior of any cause or plight, but given the opportunity, I will be the most stalwart ally and advocate of those hard working Georgians in need.
Over the course of my campaign, I will criss-cross Georgia, talking to people from Blue Ridge to the Savannah coast and everywhere in between.
